As I embark on this journey of spirituality and understanding who I worship, this topic keeps coming up. Most Christians are basically coming at me saying that the issues that I am bringing up are of Catholics not christians. This post is about drawing out similarities between christianity and catholic religion. In order to be objective, first I will share the difference between the two, which are harder to find than I thought, but I will try. As I embark on this journey, the evident of corruption in christianity, and in catholic religion are overwhelming and darn right evil. Nevertheless, lets take a closer look of where the catholic church came from, and how the protestant dominations branched from it.
Where Did The Catholic Church Come From
What is the history of the christian church? The first thing that was put in my heart to look at while answering this question is the dream of Nebuchadnezzar. According to Daniel 2, King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream that no one can interpret. Daniel interpreted the dream as follow:
36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. 37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. 39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Daniel 2:36-44
How Did The Roman Empire Take The Form of Religion Instead of Politics?
When Rome empire fail, it is clear to see that it took shape of another ruling class disguised as a religion. If you think about it, you will see that all the colonization that happened in the world happened under the orders of the catholic church. Additionally, you can clearly see that any ruling king in Europe was either appointed or in allegiance with the Pope in one way or another. Where a king ruled, there was always a bishop or a priest who the king answered to. I can truly tell you this, we are now in the Holy Roman Empire time, the rulership of the gentiles. I talked about this in this post, where I reference the Iron Kingdom. It is important to keep in mind that Christianity is plagiarized. Emperor Constantine reconcile Roman pagan religions under the disguise of christianity. You can see the short History here.
Messianics vs. Christians
The true followers of the true Savior called themselves Messianics coming from the name Messiah. They were prosecuted following the death of the Savior up until the blending of the ancient pagan religions with Messiah’s believers. The Messiah’s believers were first called christians in Antioch. Meaning that someone else gave them that name.
26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 11:26
Antioch and Deity Serapis
In 200 BC before the birth of The Messiah, Ancient Rome worshipped Serapis and his followers were called christians. The main religion in that time was Mithras. Emperor Constantine, unlike emperors before him decided to blended the religion of Mithras with the Messiah’s believers teachings at the council of Nicea in the year 325. The City of Antioch was an ancient Greek City. It would make sense that people of Antioch would identify the true Savior as the anointed one (christ) as they attributed this name to other deities. The same name they attributed to Mithras the son of the sun god sol invictus aka baal. Antioch was an ancient trading city and part of the ancient Rome province in Syria. It was the third largest city of the Rome Empire with amazing architecture, baths, among other things. Serapis deity and sol invictus is one the same, satan himself. He keeps presenting himself in so many forms but ultimately it all comes down to the sun god. They just keep changing names and re-inventing themselves.
How Does Christianity Differ From Catholic Religion
Some of the differences between christianity and the catholic church from my observation is the way of worship. Catholics rely on a set of religious rules they follow. Christians rely on faith and one on one relationship with God through jesus christ their savior. Initially as I mentioned above, christianity was a blending between ancient pagan roman gods and the Messiah followers. Over time Emperor Theodosius made christianity the main religion of Rome whichi is catholic religion. Starting with Martin Ruther October 31, 1517 one by one different branches of christianity branched off from the catholic church. In other words, Catholic church gave birth to all other christian faith as one by one chose how they will worship outside the catholic church. Its like a disobedient child who leaves home and starts his own thing. At the end of the day, that child belongs to that family.
The 95 Theses Or Disputation On The Power Of Indulgence
One of the biggest issues that Martin Luther had was the good works doctrine of the catholic church versus achieving salvation based on one’s faith. He did not believe that you can buy pardon certificates for your sins, and that no one can be the intermediary between you and God. Over time other sect of the christian religion were born. Some are pentecosts, adventists, baptists, protestants obvious, among others. The different between other sect of religion and the catholic church is that catholics call themselves christians, and christian deny association with catholicism. Lets look at similarities, shall we?
What Are The Similarities Between The Two
What is funny is that when you research this topic, the answers depend on who wrote or did a video on the subject. If christians respond, they really horn down on how different they are from the catholics. When the catholics respond, as a parent still embraces the christians the child. I believe the reason for this is because catholics believes that they are the original faith passed down from Apostle Peter the disciple of jesus. Nevertheless, some of the similarities include sunday worship, communion, and holidays such as easter. Additionally both religions disobey The Most High’s first four Commandments. I will dedicate posts for these similarities to break them down further and add the link in this section. The reason for this is because the similarities are so large and point out the depth of these religions.
Conclusion Or Is It?
The catholic church was prophesied. Instead of Rome continuing to be a political power, it disguised itself into a religious power that control many political nations. The Vatican has its own sovereignty meaning it makes its own laws, and acts as its own country. To think that branching off something makes you different entirely, is a deception. Therefore, I conclude that christians are catholics, and catholics are christians. I also believe that the christianity religion is a false religion. Whether be from from christians or catholics. The reason I take this stance it is because of the blending of the teaching of Sonini Nanini and those of paganism. It is because christianity disobeys the commandments openly in catholicism, but discretely in christianity.
